There's no better class to take if you want to learn how to create one-of-a-kind custom frames. Learning to apply compo corners and metal leaf to pre-finished moulding is easier than you think, and you'll leave this class with all the expertise you need to repeat the process back home. Eric will cover the application of compo corners and the skills you need to lay metal leaf. As a bonus, you'll also learn some basic finishing techniques so each frame you make will be a unique creation. This class is a great introduction to custom frame making. The skills you acquire here are complete while also being stepping stones to more advanced frame-making techniques. This workshop will be split into one morning session and one afternoon session. Class size is limited.

Learn to create beautiful and unique finishes on unfinished wood moulding in this workshop. By using materials such as quick-drying, water-based stains and shellacs as well as multiple types of paints, glazes, and waxes, you’ll be able to create an almost unlimited selection of customized finishes. The skills and knowledge you’ll gain in this class can be adapted to your shop’s capabilities, from a large to a small-scale operation, giving your frames a more personalized, distinctive look.
